The Standard Behind Every Wedding
With Love Events was built on Christina's belief that every couple deserves exceptional expertise, genuine care, and someone who truly takes ownership of their day. As founder and lead planner, she brings a WPIC certification, a Master's degree in Communication and Culture, and over a decade of experience across luxury weddings, corporate productions, and executive nonprofit events. Every love story is welcome here. Every wedding is held to the same exceptional standard.
Meet Christina
Wedding planning is what I do, full stop. With Love Events is my full-time creative practice, and after 15 years and 200+ weddings I still get genuinely excited about a blank mood board.
My design point of view is bold and eclectic. I thrive when a couple gives me creative latitude and trusts me to run with it — no templates, no defaults, no beige. Every floor plan, tablescape, and design direction I develop starts from scratch, because your wedding should speak directly to who you are as people, not to what everyone else did last season.
Off the clock I am a marathon runner, a proud pet parent, and a design obsessive who takes photos of interesting ceilings and saves restaurant menus for the typography. I also happen to moonlight as a Primary Care Paramedic — which sounds like a non-sequitur until you have seen how I run a wedding day. I am calm under pressure, I solve problems before anyone notices they exist, and I show up having already thought through every contingency so you do not have to think about a single one.
As a queer woman myself, planning celebrations for LGBTQ+ couples is something I hold close. You will never need to explain yourself, edit yourself, or wonder whether you are in a safe space here. Some of my favourite weddings I have ever had the privilege of planning have been for queer and non-traditional families, and that is not a coincidence.
Our Ideal Couple
Our favourite clients are the ones who come to us with a feeling, an energy, a set of references, a sense of who they are and then trust us to translate it into something visually stunning and logistically seamless. If you are looking for a planner who will hand you a Pinterest board full of beige and white linen, we are probably not the right fit.
